Post-truth is about the increasing complexity and globalization of our world. It is the result of an ongoing digital revolution where we are loosening our grip on truth because of technology. Social Media becomes a parallel media ecosystem where debates tend to be framed largely by appeals to emotion. Living in a post-truth era means, that borders between truth and lies, honesty and dishonesty, fiction and nonfiction blur. At the same time technology-enabled transparency and authenticity is our hope that, the more transparency manifests, the quicker we’re going to become a better society.
