Dead to a dying World, Abstracter

DEAD TO A DYING WORLD aus Texas, US zählen ganze sieben Köpfe und zwei Alben und sind düster, metallisch, schnell, laut, melodisch und schön. Streichinstrument (Viola) inklusive. Ist ja schon eine Weile her, dass wir eine derartige Kombo auf der Bühne hatten, Zeit wird's also wieder mal. "For a moment, you think that the onslaught is over, that after eight minutes of dramatic strings and overdriven guitars, punishing drums and punished vocals, [DEAD TO A DYING WORLD] will at last offer a respite. [...] But when Dead to a Dying World at last pull back [...] it is only to regroup and instantly return with twice the speed and twice the fury."

Mit dabei sind ABSTRACTER, ebenfalls aus den US, nämlich Oakland, mit schweren, bitterbösen Sludge/Crust/Doom/Metal, der unter anderem an WOLVHAMMER, AMENRA, ALTAR OF PLAGUES und TRAGEDY erinnert und Bands wie AMEBIX, SWANS, CORRUPTED, BLUT AUS NORD, GODFLESH und HIS HERO IS GONE zu seinen Einflüssen zählt. Und eine bessere Kombi für den Abend findet sich wohl so schnell nicht, super wird das!

PS. ABSTRACTER bringen demnächst eine Split mit DARK CIRCLES aus Kanada raus. Wenn das nicht gut klingt, weiss ich auch nicht! Also kommen!
